Si sintetitizza clinicamente una sorta di distillato preter-amoroso fattonz-darchettone raffigurabile grosso modo tra un giovane Werther mollato dalla morosa e il Corvo di Brandon Lee pescato a scacazzare sul monumento a Wolfgang Goethe, distillato destinato a generare montagne di trucido sollucchero nelle consistenti e pessimisticissime file di darkettoni fine80/iniz90: We will survive (I'll drink the moonlight from your hands / I'll swim an ocean filled with sorrow / no, lover, please don't go / we can crucify tomorrow"), Love will save you, You know nothing ("And I was told that your eyes / would shine a light up into space / and infinity would then consume / this ordinary place / ... / you know nothing, you know nothing at all"). Oppostamente, certo iniziale nichil/superominismo blandamente nazistello ("I want power, because it feels good / I want power, I'll wash America with blood / I want power, a clear blue light in the sky / I feel power, running through my veins and out my eyes", Power and sacrifice), diventa a tratti improvvidamente self-pipponante (Failure) fino a pervenire, sorprendentemente, a una sorta di pubblico disconoscimenteo in quellla che vi apparirà come la lirica più genuina, struggente...
