L'evanescente rocchettino brum-brum discorrente di quanto sia divertente fare la rockstar ("We're gonna kick ass in front of the crowd / we're gonna play some rock and roll, that's true", We're on the road again) che si permette (di sprecare) gente come Steve Lukater alla chitarra e Paul McCartney al basso, collocato in apertura, definisce unilateralmente il mood road-balneare di questo diciafottutamentenovesimo album solista di Superenalotto Starr. Che vada tutto meravigliosamente bene è ribadito, per esempio, anche nel soleggiato remember dei tempi andati (specificamente, quelli di Rory Storm and the Hurricanes): la You-can-leave-your-hatteggiante Electricity. O nel ballatone morbidone Show me the way, dedicato alla (tuttora) fascinosa moglie Barbara Bach. O nel rassicurante cow-country di So wrong for so long (dove, a dispetto del titolo "When we first met / … / everyone around us could see, we got on well") o nella blandamente psichedelica Laughable ("Woke up this morning I was feeling good". Appunto). La pop-ballad vagamente-in-levare-con-sax-terrificante King of the kindoms contiene un riprovevole omaggio ai Wailers ("One love / one heart / Bob Marley always did it for me", eccheccaX). Nel bonus disc, quattro irrilevanti auto-cover dei bei tempi appena successivi ai bei tempi andati.
